Advanced – RSS Tab

VIDEO TRANSCRIPT

The RSS Tab of Yoast SEo only has two sections, you can decide what content to put before each post in your RSS feed on what content to put after each post. There are a couple of variables that you can use using the percentage type variables that use in titles as well but they are slightly different you can link to the author Archive to the post, you can link to the blog or site itself or you can link to the blog or site itself with that blog name and description as the anchor text.

0:45 This will show up in your RSS feed as such, it will be rendered as Html and it will automatically link back to the post on your blog to tell people where the content came from this is mostly done to prevent from being scraped. Now if you look at this you will notice that we have a no follow attribute to the links in this bit. We do that for a very specific reason we don’t want you ending up with allot of bad links from scrapers to your site as actually could get you caught penguin at least that our fare which is why we add no follow to all those links automatically.

1:29 you can change these text you can decide to put this here and it is easy as saving it, and you will see the bit moves around. It’s not harder than this it really is rather that simple.
