Number one choose the right from name. 68% of consumers open emails based on how familiar they are with person sending it. You want to make sure people recognize who the email is coming from. Ask yourself are people more likely to recognize my name, or my business name?

Number two choose the right from address. Similar to tip number one if you’re still using a personal email address instead of your branded business email you could be missing out on another way to make your emails instantly recognizable.

Number three brand your subject lines when appropriate. Well you may not always have room to inject your brand name into your subject line it might be worth trying to see if it increases your open rates.

When it comes to getting recognized in the inbox small improvements can make a big difference. The best way to stand out is to make sure people who already know, like, and trust your business can recognize you right away.
