On the General Tab of the titles and Meta section you have only two settings, but they are pretty important. First of all you have flourish rewrite tiles this is a settings that automatically be set based on how you site works, but it can sometimes be wrong by the default you SEO checks whether it can rewrite your properly.
0:36 This depends on how you’re theme deals with titles and if it can’t rewrite your title properly it will enable force rewrite which will makes your sites a tiny bit slower but it make sure that we can output the right tile. You can always work around this by changing how your theme deals with titles these days it shouldn’t deal with titles at all but it should declare theme support for something was added in word press 4.3
I think to output titles from within word press instead of having your theme doing but that’s always the better option but not everyone wants to go into their them if you update your theme the changes might be gone etc. So in that case just force rewrite the titles if it doesn’t work.
Be sure to check this on your site if you know that it works with your theme you don’t have to do anything there. The section option on this page is another one that is very important you can choose your title separator. The title separator is the thing we use in between your post title and you side name for instance or your post title and your category depending on the title templates that will setup in the other tabs of this section of the Seo settings.
2:00 I personally prefer setting a title separator that is fairly distinct but is also as small as possible, so I preferred to meet that or even this one. They are allot of people who prefer. I it personally looks too much so I don’t really use it that much. So is the length of the title as you can use in Google is dependent on the width of your title or try to choose a separator it doesn’t take too much paste. Separators like these all take up quite a bit of space but of course this is all personal taste and you can use whatever you want.
